Regular Breast Examination Does Not Work !

HUH! What a 'fair dinkum!' We have been told that we need to regularly check our breast for lumps or for any changes . Suddenly all those examinations are fruitless and a waste of time and efforts.

According to Dr. Keith of the Sun paper, this is wrong advice! This will come as a shock to many women and pretty very confusing to learn that we have been fed the wrong information's.

The truth about this matter according to this doctor is regular self -examinations does not work. In fact , it can cause you more harm than good and he has stopped recommending breast self -examinations.

Some very smart Alecs carried out an experiment and found out that those who have regular breast self -examinations and those who did not made no difference to the death rate in both groups.

Whether you checked regularly or don't , those who were unlucky to catch that disease were just unfortunate. Those who checked regularly suffered unnecessary worries when they discovered some hard lumps and went for biopsies and found them non malignant.

Even after some regular breast self- examinations , they could not detect the cancer and they creeped in until it was too late.Breast cancer is a deadly disease and we have to be on guard to check them for any early warning signs.

Most of us are not doctors and breast can be lumpy at times. We may detect some small lumps and worry about them when it is natural to have some lumps . Some are just tumours , non malignant and are harmless .

If we did not have regular self examinations we may not even know of their existence and continue our life in a blissful state. If the lumps increase in size then we should be worried about it and have it checked by those professional doctors.

He is not the only doctor who said that regular breast examination is dead, in 2003 a leading woman expert also wrote the same thing in the British Medical Journal .

Does it mean that you don't have to examine your breast regularly anymore and just leave everything to nature ?

You don't have to check regularly or religiously week in and week out but you only need to be aware of any changes , sensations or pain in your breast and if you think you have a problem , then you should go and see your doctor. Heed your body signals and don't go looking for lumps when there are none or when they are harmless.

If you want to check regularly by all means and if you don't want to , it is your prerogative.

Eat a healthy diet and exercise to keep fit and healthy. If you still can get cancer, then it is fated..

Tainted Milk Scandal

There are many Malaysians working in China and many of them are fearful of what they consume over there as rumours whether true or unfounded has been circulating that many of the food products are tainted or consist of illegal substances or substitutes which can affect one's health. The perceptions is very strong among the Malaysian communities over there and they are taking no chances.

In recent years, there have been cases of over contaminated seafood,canned luncheon meat, toothpaste and a pet food ingredient tainted with melamine and lead in toys and colour pencils.

At least 12 countries have banned Chinese dairy products — the latest was Indonesia, which distributed a list of 28 products that it said may contain tainted Chinese milk, including Oreo cookies, Snickers bars and M&M chocolate candies.

Tesco has also withdrawn the White Rabbit candies from its stores in China and Malaysia.
There are now 132 products which the Government has placed on the list of items suspected of having melamine, up from 53 items on Wednesday.

New Zealand's Food Safety Authority warned Wednesday that the White Rabbit candies being sold by other retailers there contained dangerously high levels of melamine and advised people not to eat them.

Anthony Hazzard, the Western Pacific director of the World Health Organisation, said yesterday that 82 per cent of the children made sick by the formula were two years old or younger.

Singapore's Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority said tests revealed traces of melamine in samples of a Yili-brand yogurt bar and Dutch Lady-brand strawberry milk manufactured in China, Dutch Lady-brand banana and honeydew flavored milk, Silang-brand potato crackers and two kinds of puffed rice balls.

Other milk products are yogurt bars to strawberry milk, biscuits and candy.

For the time being , it is better to scrutinize the labels carefully and see the contents and where the product comes from.

Malaysia's health minister said that customs officials will test all Chinese food imports, including those without milk, before allowing them to be released for sale. Can you really trust them?

In Taiwan , Golden Kestrel Co. informed the bureau that their cheese sandwich exported from Malaysia contained 29.818 parts per million of melamine.

The History Of Women

In the beginning, there was darkness and God said, "Let there be light!" He then went on to create the world with all kinds of living things and lastly he created a man from the earth and called him Adam; but He was not pleased as He found him lonely in the Garden of Eden.

When he was asleep, God took out one of his rib bones and created Eve, a woman similar in appearance but with some modifications and additions to the original prototype. God was pleased with Eve as she could be his helper and Adam would not be so lonely after all.

The man thought that since he was the first prototype, he was superior to the woman, being nature of being the first born or created. He began to lord over her because of his bigger physical build and stronger muscles .

The woman who was weaker physically was compensated with a wily and cunning brain, able to think on both sides of her brain and do multi tasking.

She allowed him to believe that he is in charge while we all know that most of the time , it is the woman who makes the decision. If you do not consult your woman , you will be the loser .

Most of the time , if you want to have a harmonious ,peaceful and lasting relationship, you should ask for her opinions even if it is a unimportant business. It shows your love and respect for her and make her feel wanted and appreciated.To her, it is the actions that counts and not always the substance.

One day some men discovered the truth that women are more superior than men and they began to trivialize everything which women did.They philosophized that they were the stronger and better beings and that women were only fit to perform all those daily menial task to cook, wash and take care of them.

It did not crossed their minds that women are as capable as them and so women were denied all those rights which those early men enjoyed. They did not like the house chores and kept those women at home who provided them with a warm and cozy home and took care of all their needs.

Thus , until this present age, women were associated with the home and became a standard gender role.

Female Pastors ? ?

If women can be good mothers, good teachers, good Prime Ministers or Presidents and good administrators, I do not see why women cannot be pastors . If they are capable of leading a nation or large corporations, why they cannot lead a congregation? Is there any difference between leading a nation and leading a flock ?

In some conservative religious groups, women are not allowed to become clergy.They may quote from the Bible to back up their claims.Since we are in this modern world where women are seeking equality in every fields, it is by right , that whoever can do the the job better will be appointed to that post irregardless of her gender .

~ Sometimes we forget that ministry is God's business. It's not a man's business. God gives gifts to whomever He sees fit.~

There are independent churches which have appointed female pastors to lead the congregations and they are doing very well.Some faith traditions take a literal approach to the texts that prohibit women from ordination,

Different religious communities have different perspectives on their clergy. You cannot change their way of thinking and since you can join any church of your own free will, you could either go to a church lead by man or a lady pastor .

There are bound to be different interpretations of the Bible which has given rise to many denominations and sects. I think we should just leave that question to God and let whoever is more gifted or have leadership qualities to be the Shepard of that flock ,be it a man or a woman.

Sometimes we forget that ministry is God's business. It's not a man's business. God gives gifts to whomever He sees fit. In many churches , there are more women than men and many women are providing the leadership and if without their involvement and contributions of women, the church would not grow.
I would not like to argue with those who are against women pastors. Let God be the judge.

Fancy Some Meals Cooked With Human Breast Milk !

A restaurant in Switzerland is serving meals cooked with human breast milk and he believed that it will improve the taste, flavour and nutritious value of those meals.

He has not broken any laws in that country or for the matter , I do not think there are laws which forbid this practice.

Some restaurants maybe using this secret recipe without announcing them .
Like in those movies where horrors of horrors ,some special bun fillings are made from heavenly meat,which is another name for human parts.

Breast milk contains proteins, fats, carbohydrates and vitamins.( What's in breast milk?). It can be stored for three or four months in the fridge.

Some people may find this a controversial issue as human breast milk is for the babies and using it for cooking meals maybe in appropriate. We may have stereotype mindset about breast milk and consuming other's milk can be revolting to some.

How would he source for those milk in commercial quantities?

He posted ads looking for women donors and paying three pounds for 14 ounces of their milk. Generally women lactate only when they have given birth to an infant. Some women may have problems breastfeeding their babies or do not have sufficient amount .There are moms who breastfed their children till they are 8 or 9 years or more.

In some extreme rare case, a non pregnant woman or even a man may produce milk.It is not entirely impossible but there has been cases documented about such occurrences.

Human breast milk is sweet to taste and contains many nutritious substances and anti bodies. The problem is ,some adults may find it a psychological and emotionally offensive or repugnant act.

Sarah Palin Underqualified ???

There are a lot of posts in the blogs and media which are pro and anti Palin. Whether she is qualified to run for VP is hotly debatable. Everyone has their own opinions whether she would be a good VP or simply unqualified for the nation's second highest post and possibly the Commander -in- Chief should anything happens to McCain.

No one is perfect and to expect anyone to be an master of all trades is simply asking for the impossible. Maybe, those critics should ask God to be the President of the USA.

She has very low depth of foreign policy experience - name one governor who has become president who has had in-depth foreign policy experience. She may not be well versed in foreign policies or economics but this can be overcome with a battery of good advisers. John McCain has vast foreign policy experience and she is not running for the president's post.

An experienced and knowledgeable person may not be a good administrator. Just as a brilliant soccer star may not be a good and great coach.

A lot of the problems are made by men and it is time for a woman to run the country .Perhaps they can do a better job than the men. The women in America should break the glass ceiling, for men and women are equal. Clinton was unfortunate to have to face Obama and the woman's fight for equality is now taken over by Palin.

A good many women are favorably inclined towards Governor Palin principally because she and they are of the same gender. Many women may vote on emotions and not on issues. Most Americans may be obscure about the issues and instead associate themselves with Palin.

Many women identify with Palin.Her decision to raise Trig, a Down’s syndrome baby, and support for her pregnant 17-year-old daughter Bristol have been widely praised. She is a working mom and is aware of the struggles of the ordinary working moms .

We are living in the modern times and there is no room for religious bigotry . Who are we to judge her for her actions.On whether being a 5 child mom would affect her running for the VP's job, she declared that in this modern age it was 'irrelevant. 'Whether they are presidents or VP, having a family is the normal thing and why it should be different for her ?

Palin is a breath of fresh air.She's an accomplished governor, with an over 80 percent approval rating. You simply cannot please everyone and if you get 51% that is already good enough.

Sarah Palin has become an American political superstar at a dizzying speed, with a meteoric rise in just two weeks.John McCain has found himself in the odd position of playing a supporting role to his running mate and obama having to duel with her.

She comes from the cold and harsh frontier of the USA. Like those cowboys and cow girls of the Wild! Wild! West era where the women were tough and had to handle the same chores as the men.She is tough and yet feminine , the very epitome of a modern successful woman.

With her being the first Republican woman to run for the VP post, feminism and sexism seems to come to the fore.Feminism, which should be about equal rights and equal opportunity.

A clutch of polls last week showed McCain ahead by five points in Missouri, four in Ohio, four in Virginia and eight in Florida. New Mexico and N e v a d a . Other states that had appeared to be comfortably in the Democratic camp now look precarious and the ground is shifting beneath his feet.

A poll by the Associated Press last week showed that white women preferred McCain to Obama by 53% to 40%.

Whatever Obama hurled at her , nothing seems to stick to her , she seems insulated from all his attacks and instead has to back pedal from his miss firings.

“People still don’t know what Obama stands for. There’s a perceived elitism and something aloof about him. They just don’t connect with him,” A broad section of the white population especially the women adores and worship her. She is like a hurricane sweeping through the USA.

Obama maybe an eloquent orator but sometimes too much of one thing can dull the senses and it is all about change and promises but nothing solid when his record is exposed.

African-Americans will vote for Obama, but they're only 13% of the population.Many blue-collar Americans who don't think of themselves as racist, and are on good terms with the African-Americans they know, but feel uncomfortable at the prospect of a black president.They may not tell the truth in the polls .Racialism is ever present in many modern societies.

She is only running for the VP and under McCain , she may learn the ropes and rise and shine. Why is Obama hitting out at her instead of McCain. ? It should be Joe Bidden who should engage her in debate

If this goes on , the Democrats will surely have to wait for another 4 years in 2012.
There is a real probability that it could be Palin V/S Clinton.

Britney Spears - Piece of me !

What a fantastic turnaround for Britney Spears. We were treated to a vibrant , toned , healthy and vivacious looking Britney when she collected three awards at this year's MTV awards. She picked up the best video, best pop video and best female video awards to a standing ovation.

'Wow, thank you, I'm in shock right now. I was not expecting this,' she said at the end of the night as she accepted the shiny Moonman statue for video of the year.

We can still remember her disastrous comeback attempt at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.

Daily we saw pictures of her melt downs and there was not a day that we did not read or hear about her news.Those paparazzi's were following her 24/7 and her news was always hot.

She went into seclusion for a while and trained out with her long time manager and her parents who became involved with her life again.

We are glad and happy to see that she has overcome her troubles and came back from the road of self destruction..She is getting her life together and being transformed and thanks to Larry Rudolph, the pop guru who made Britney a global star.

She is the best pop singer of this generation and we hope that we will see more of her singing talents and as well as being a good mother to her two kids.

John McCain Or Barack Obama ?

Who will be the 44th President of the USA ?

Is it John McCain or Barack Obama ?

At the moment , McCain has taken a narrow lead over Obama. The election is barely less than two months away and McCain seems to be the hot favourite and with the Palin factor , the picture is complete.

He has an overwhelming advantage in experience ,with nearly three decades in Congress and appeal to those working class and suburban whites, with men and senior citizens and rural residents. A poll showed that he has eighty percent of those polled who believed he has the credentials to be a President while only forty six percent for Obama.

I would agree with this poll that Obama lacks the the critical and tactical experience factor and all that has come out are plenty of rhetorics and wishy and washy comments. It is hard to believe someone who promised much but may not deliver on those promises.

Though the Republicans under Bush is very unpopular but many believed that McCain will chart a different course. This is all about perceptions. The master stroke of McCain's campaign was in picking a younger ,vivacious and tough woman to be his VP.

On this day at 8:46 a.m.,19 Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial passenger airplanes.

They crashed two of the planes into the Twin Towers in NYC, and flew a third into the Pentagon building in Virginia.

Passengers on the fourth flight attempted to retake control of the aircraft, but it crashed in a Pennsylvania field.

The devastating terrorist attacks of 9/11 were responsible for 2,974 confirmed casualties and an unknown number of injuries.

"Today marks the seventh anniversary of the day our world was broken," Mayor Michael Bloomberg said. "It lives forever in our hearts and our history, a tragedy that unites us in a common memory and a common story ... the day that began like any other and ended as none ever has."

Are You A Green Eye Monster ?

In every woman , there lurks a scary green eye monster or monsters or some evil Gremlins in some nooks and corners of her heart. Sometimes , she is able to control those monsters but at other times , the monster is able to evade her controls and manifest itself and take over her driver's seat.

Jealousy is possessive love. She wants him all to herself and is prepared to go the length to cut him off from his world. You really cannot understand why a woman would act and behave that way .

Women have a smaller heart and they are more constricted .They seldom act in a big hearted way. The men are expected to understand that jealousy is sometimes good and not always bad.

Such a woman is usually insecure, have a low self esteem and confidence .She will constantly imagine her man up to no good and every incident will reinforced her opinions of him. Her constant worries will eat her insides and may turned her into a neurotic wife.

There are many incidents which are normal to a man but abnormal to a woman. Once married, the men should not look, ogle, flirt , think, chat, SMS, e-mail or hook up with any girls through whatever medium of communications . It is an impossible mission because there are millions of working woman out there.

Any of those actions will allow the green eye monster to rear it's ugly head. He should not watch porn or masturbate and if he wants to masturbate, he will have to think of her alone only and not another woman.She even wants to control his thoughts and what he can think .

The woman instead of being jealous, should learn to built trust and confidence and not to take many things personally. She should remain objective and separate issues which are not related to her personally.She has to think like a man sometimes.and do understand that the men do not think like her .

She would need to have faith and believe in her man and being honest with each other.The man chose her and married her and she should not question his love nor show her insecurity .

If she does not control the monster, it will grow into a colony of monsters and her marriage will be poisoned and die .

During the chase , the men will try to please the girl to the hilt and when they have captured their prey , their real inner person will manifest outwardly to your consternation's. Many girls hoping that the men will change will find out this grave error and they have to change instead .

What now ?

You are married to him and you will have to accommodate his idiosyncrasies and try to live as best as you can or you could choose the divorce road if you cannot stomach the toxic jerk..

You cannot change a person but you can change your reactions towards him and hope that he will change to a new you. A different approach may elicit a different response and hopefully he will treat you better .

Try to give him more praises and he will try to be the man you want him to be. Positive words begets positive actions. Man are like woman , they need some praises and confirmations of their actions or deeds.

Man are just simple beings and you need to talk straight to them in plain simple English and tell them what you want or need. Do not beat about the bush or hint as they are unable to decipher your feminine code . Talk in their language which they can understand and do not blame him because he is not a mind reader .

Accidents Staged By Touts ???

If somebody accidentally cuts in front of you and brakes suddenly when there is nothing in front of them and caused an accident , or the car in front of you suddenly brakes hard for no apparent reasons, you are probably a victim of a staged accident by those touts from the workshop .

It is hard to prove it but at the back of your mind, you know it was not an incidental accident but an accident by design.

The world cannot get rid of this problem because there is a strong demand for this kind of services by the men. There are men who cannot live without sex and once when he enters that place, he can develop into an addiction to it. He will continue to go and seek new pleasures or check for new girls.

Those men who are not attractive or unappealing will not be able to have sex in their real life and they will have to go to the brothels. Those young and unmarried would go there to have sex for fun and experimentation's because they could not afford to woo and marry any girl at that moment.

Those who are married and later divorced , may not entertain a remarriage and may go to those brothels to satisfy their sexual needs. There is no emotional tie ups and they can on and off whenever it suits them unlike a marriage.

Some of the men have fetishes and fantasies and they may not want to do it with their wives or their wives are not receptive to their ideas. The men would rather do it with those hookers who would do anything within their means to satisfy their clients.

The married men may seek those hookers when they are bored with their partners and want some varieties or when they do not get enough from them. Those brothels serves as an outlet for their sexual urges and stress. Otherwise, they may rape their own children or commit some heinous crimes.

For the men , it is cheaper to go to the brothels than to marry a woman. They get better satisfaction and varieties . Why buy the whole cow when you only want to drink the milk only? It is the time to sow their wild oats before they settle down with one woman.

In our society , it seems acceptable for the men and the women to a certain extent to have sex before marriage. There is no stigma associated with it. Today's brides are sometimes 5 months pregnant or even holding a one year old during the wedding receptions.

Some men may stop going to those brothels after they are married while others may resurrect this activity when they do not get along well with their spouse.

After you have married, the men should stop going to those brothels because many women will not be able to accept this situation. It is considered unfaithful and

will lose her trust and the marriage suffers.

When you get edgy and have little patience due to the fatigue.

Most of us consider the internet as an integral part of our life. We use it to send e-mails, play games, blog or read and surf the net for info's and news or watch porn. We spend a better part of our free time blogging or chit chatting up with others .

Some psychiatrists have claimed that obsessive internet use is such a serious a public health problem that it should be officially recognised as a clinical disorder.

This is a very sad day for all the women in the world. Five girls were kidnapped ,shot and buried alive and their crime was they wished to choose who to marry. They could not choose any one they like to marry and that such a decision was punishable by death in that terrible and backward country.

Surely no parents would want to put to death their very own daughters if they want to choose who to marry.Perhaps the unfortunate victims did not want to marry into those powerful war lords and they were kidnapped and killed under a very old traditional custom.
