What do you call those women who stand by their man when he has committed the foulest sin of having an affair, stupid, dumb or just pragmatic ?

The modern independent women would not tolerate such a state of affairs and would seek divorce from him.

There are some who can forgive their spouse and stay together and some paralyzed with indecision's .Whether you want to divorce him or not , forgiveness is a must to heal your hurts and to close this chapter in your life.

There are more temptations for the modern men to cheat as there are more women working in the offices and factories.The term 'office spouse' is commonly heard these days.

We need to understand why the men cheated.Generally , most women feel aggrieved when their spouse cheated and blame it on the men without looking at themselves.It is easy to see others mistakes than one's own. They may need to see the perspectives from the man's world and not only through their feminine eyes..

It is easier for a man to have an affair than a woman because women are more discerning and not in it just for the sex thingy.

Men are like egotistical little boys who need constant attentions. When you have kids and a home , the women tend to pay less attention to the men.

When the men meet with a younger version of his wife and who idolize him and worship the ground that he walks on ,sparks can fly .

Some women tolerate his affairs as long as they are better treated than the mistress.This happens to those Alpha males like rock stars,tycoons, MP's and royalties.They are so wealthy and the other women are attracted to them like flies to the bright light even if they are married.

In fact , there are women who do not mind as long as they do not mention heror he kept her in the backgrounds.They learn to cope with their philandering husbands as long as she is recognized as the wife in the family.

If the men have ended the affairs , I think it is better to forgive him and move on with your life. He made a mistake and if you divorce him , you may regret later somewhere down the road as he is such a character which you may never meet again .

Those who stand by the man is because they still love him and understands he is not perfect . It could be economic reasons or reputations. Whatever the reasons , he should be given another chance.

To err is only human and to forgive is divine.
