Life as a transsexual in Malaysia.

John ( not his real name )was a normal Chinese man and there was no outward signs that he was a transsexual . He did not entertain any thoughts about being a transsexual and he did not know much about this group of people .

His first experience with a transsexual was when he was in the 20's , he followed his friend to the old Gurney Drive or the Explanade in Penang, Malaysia.

There he saw a vivacious and very sexy young woman all attired in a white alluring dress with a low cut neckline and exposing her generous buxom. He did not suspect that she was a man until his friend told him the truth. She was very beautiful but she had a very coarse voice. It was probably the side effects of those hormones.

He married his sweetheart after a short whirlwind romance and had two children but sadly his marriage did not last. After eight years ,his wife left him and he became a single parent for his two young kids.

He took care of his kids and became their father and mother. It was during this time , that his feminine side became more pronounced and he took the plunge and changed into a female. Thus his adventure into the female world began.

What finally made him change was due to several factors which he could not pin point. He just had to dress like a female or he would go bonkers and he did not have the inner peace. He was troubled for a long time till he succumbed to his inner calling.

He took the contraceptive pills daily which contains those female hormones, estrogen and progesterone and slowly he developed breast tissues and the female characteristics. His face became more girlish and his skins became softer and smoother.

He was in appearance, a middle age good looking woman and she fooled many .Even the women too did not sense that she was a man among them.

When he made the switch it was not without problems from his sister or mom. There were objections from them but slowly they came around to accept her, as they were not able to convinced her to switch back.It was her life and she did not want others to dictate who she wanted to be.

She lived in a small suburban town and there were no other Chinese tranny's ,only some Malays who only became a closet tranny at home because for the Malays, it is an offense and they can be caught and charged or be jailed.

She did not face any persecutions from either the police or the religious authorities. She is a Christian but have stopped attending any church because of her conditions. She has never tried attending any church because she perceived that she will not be welcome or fear that she will be asked to repent and turn back from her ways.

She enjoyed herself being a new woman and acted as natural as one.Her female friends accepted her and treated her as their own kind.

Her male friends treated her the same so she did not missed out on them.Off course ,there were some who were judgmental .It did not bother her at all.She was quite philosophical about it.

She was lucky she is not a Malay/Muslim as their religion does not allow them to wear woman's clothes. It is against their religion according to those in power. They can be fined or jailed or both.Hard cases are send for rehabilitations and
to be brainwashed like the Revati case..

In Malaysia , unless you are certified by a doctor tat you have both sex organs from birth and decided to become a woman ,only then you can have your ID changed from male to female.

This law only came out recently. Before this, there was no avenue at all.Compared to other more liberal and modern Islamic countries like Iran and Egypt ,where they allowed the sex change operations legally.

Tranny's have problems finding jobs due to their nature..They either suppressed their female feelings while at work but act out secretly in their homes from unseen eyes .

Most of them are either self employed or sell their sex services which give this group the bad name.

When people think of tranny's , they have that stereotype thinking that most of them are sex workers. To them , this world is only either male or female . They do not understand and are ignorant about this group of people.

It is not easy to be a tranny,it takes a lot of guts and money. You need to face the world and spend a lot on those girlish things which are not cheap,a completely overhauled wardrobe, those bra's ,cosmetics, beauty treatments, shoes, accessories and those can cause a bomb!

Are tranny's born the way they are or circumstances forced them to surfaced to be one?

"I just felt that I have to be a woman and I would not care or be damned what the world thinks about me.I need to live to my true self ."

Would any ordinary men be able to be a tranny ? If they are not one, they can never be one.It would take one who is born a woman in a man's body to walk this gauntlet.
