Inspirational story of a man born without arms and legs.

Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs and he plays football, golf, surfs, and swims. He is an incredible and astonishing human being.

He has a small foot on his left hip which helps him balance and enables him to kick.
He uses his one foot to type, write with a pen and pick things up between his toes.

He was born in Melbourne, Australia to a computer programmer and accountant and a nurse, but now lives in Los Angeles.

Why was he born that way ?

No one can explain from a scientific or medical perspective. It is one of those things which are a mystery to us and only God knows why he was born that way.

Life was not easy for him as he could not be independent and had to depend on those carers. When he was eight years old , he was very depressed and wanted to kill himself.

He found God and hope and with the help of his religion, friends and family, he managed to pull through to become an international symbol of triumph over adversity.
He has visited 24 different countries, touring the world as a motivational speaker

In his own words,'I realised why God had made us like this - to give hope to others. I tell people to keep on getting up when they fall and to always love themselves.'

If he can do it without arms and legs,we who are more blessed than him should not give up that easily.Life should be cherished, valued and appreciated.

When you are down , there is hope in God for He will help you to get up. Nick is the living miracle of what God can do in our life. Without Him , we would find it meaningless and would have given up on our life.

God came to save and to heal the sick.

Should Christians Get Tattoo's ?

Is it right or wrong for a Christian to have tattoo's even if the graphic maybe a religious one ?
Honestly, there are just too many controversies in this Christian religion.One will have to have one's own religious guidelines if we want to have peace with ourself. It is because of this , going to a church can be a problem when you do not agree with the leaders or the majority decision.

Perfect Church

There is no perfect church in this world and you should not go and waste your time looking for one.

If you want perfections, then remain solo because you can do whatever you think is right for yourself. There is no one to judge you or condemn you for your beliefs.You can believe whatever you want or like.

In some countries ,the government can criminalize those religious laws. Whether it is right to criminalize God's laws is a different matter.

Some Christian sects forbid any images of the snake or dragon as it represents Satan. Other images are the statues of the Gods of the other religions and even those books on magic or self defense were also banned. Some even banned their followers from watching T.V , Movies and DVD's because of the Satanic movies .

If you think , it is not wrong, just go ahead. As long as your conscience does not trouble you , there is nothing wrong in having tattoos anywhere on your body. If you think you value that person's opinion or person , then you should not have it. Otherwise, they can get lost and who cares about what they think?

We know that the Old Testament does not apply to us anymore but there are some Christians who are not aware of this fact or do not accept this fact. You may meet some of those fanatics and they would even condemn you if you have some other emblems or insignias you wear on your body. They would tell you that it represents the devil.

A woman with a tattoo can be discriminated against in some segment of our society. Some of them may regret later and removed them .Some women tattoo their eye brows for a permanent look. They will save time drawing them daily.


Whatever you do to your body , it is your right and others can just bugged off. God does not look at the externals or what you wear on the outside. He looks inside your heart.

Those who looked pious , holier than thou and judged you can be like those white washed tombs, white on the outside but black inside their heart,a religious hypocrite.They maybe able to hide their sins from you but not from God.

They picked on you while they chose to ignore those that they do not like. No one can follow all those laws in the Bible.


God said no man is righteous , for all have sinned before Him.

All things are permissible, but not all things are beneficial (1 Corinthians 10:23).

Same Sex Marriage

"In newly disclosed letters, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams writes that the Bible doesn't forbid same sex relationships when there is a commitment similar to traditional marriages, a British newspaper reported Thursday."

They is no mention about this in the Bible and it is a grey area. As a result there are controversies regarding this gay marriage. The church is split into two camps. I can only speak for myself as an individual .

I believe that everyone of us will have to decide whether you can accept gay marriages or not.If some one believed it is against the Bible , let him believed it .

We cannot tell him or say that he is wrong. Many Christians may interpret the Bible and believed what they think it is right.

We know from the historical perspective that sometimes our beliefs may have been wrong for ages until some one pointed it out to us.

There is this possibility that we maybe wrong and we should keep an open mind about our beliefs. We should not be rigid about what we have learnt.

Whatever your beliefs, one would respect other's beliefs and will leave you alone and will neither judge you nor condemn you.

As an individual , it is easier to belief what we want but as a church , the leader will have to decide the right course of action. Whatever actions those leaders take, it will not please everyone

Religion is to teach and make us a better person .If religion is abused and twisted to one's belief , then it is wrong.

We cannot feel that we are the chosen ones and all the others who do not believe the same will go to Hell .

In certain countries, religion is used as a control on the masses by those in power.

Gay or not gay , that is your decision. Right or wrong ,it is between you and God .Who am I to judge you for your sexual preferences?

It may not be the gay issue alone but could be many theological issues which can divide the believers.

If you are not gay , you cannot pretend to be a gay . It would be repulsive and offensive to you. You cannot pretend to be one.

Do you really understand why they are gay ?

How dare you who are not gay simply condemn them because you believed what some one told you according to the Bible.

Why do you swallow hook ,line and sinker and not use your brain to think. What if someone condemned you as a religious freak? Are you not ?

If you do not have love for your fellow mankind, then you do not have God in your heart. You are not worshiping God but the devil in disguis

Christians should not force the Bible down other's throat or bang on their heads. That is not the right way.

Condemning others is also wrong. What makes them think that they are right and others are wrong? Did God make them your custodian of your soul?

Even if you are right by quoting Bible verses but if you have no love , you are just like an empty gong. All talk but no actions. Faith without works is dead.

This world is full of self righteous and holier than thou people and you can meet them everywhere. Religious freaks or nuts or extremist or fanatics come to the mind.
