Today is 'International Whores Day,' and is celebrated in countries where prostitution is legalized. Prostitution is the oldest profession and can never be eradicated totally.
It attracts not only those who have no skills or low I.Q's but the smart intelligent and beautiful women too. It is the EL Dorado for women. They can earn from $150.00 to $500.00 an hour plus all those perks .
In places where it is illegal, it does not mean that it does not exist but it is driven underground .Either the government closed an eye over this issue or sweep it under the carpet.
The authorities cannot control two individuals who want to make a private deal and what happens in the room is none of their business . In some Islamic countries like Malaysia, the religious and moral police can barge into any hotel rooms and arrest those of the Islamic faith for close proximity or illegal intercourse.
Where there is a demand , there will be a supply. They provide an essential service to the community .Their contributions to the society is unrecognized as their profession is considered immoral and unethical .It is not easy to change people's perspective .
To mention the name ,'Prostitute or Hooker,'would invite scorn and derogatory looks.Even if you work in those social escort agencies,spas,bars,night clubs,massage parlours, you are tainted as well.Some are just fronts for prostitution.
Societies discrimination's and misconceptions of those hookers are hard to remove . It is too deeply ingrained and it would take a very modern and progressive society to give those hookers their rights, treat them fairly and be free from discrimination's.
They are a high risk group and banks or lenders would not want to take the risk. Even though they are working and their incomes can be lucrative, yet they do not have a long life. Their value drops when their age goes up .
Their only recourse is to earn as much as possible while the sun shines and then spend their hard earned money before diseases or death descents upon them.
With all those money stashed away , who needs a bank loan?
